No handovers between short sets — each duo trades records across an extended stretch, so the room builds instead of resetting. DESCEND is an underground music collective running events in Ao Nang and across Krabi. We started in 2022 putting on nights the coast did not have yet — house, tech and UK garage played properly, on systems worth the trip, to rooms small enough to still feel like a room. That has not changed as we have grown. What follows is where we are today, not where we came from.

Beach clubs on the Ao Nang strip and late rooms along the Krabi coast. We work with venues that will let a set run long instead of cutting it for a schedule.

Extended back-to-back sets on high-fidelity systems. No wall of flashing screens, no thirty-minute slots — the room is built over hours, not minutes.

The forefront of Ao Nang's growing music scene, GINGER T is the first non-Thai DJ to truly breakthrough into the local scene holding multiple residencies across the region's most established venues. GINGER T has consistently delivered multiple memorable nights across his residency spots to an international crowd. Having dedicated over half his life to music, his journey began at 13 on drums and guitar before evolving into DJing, driven by the raw energy and freedom of UK rave and festival culture. Rooted in the foundations of house music and influenced by artists such as Armand Van Helden, Route 94, Chris Stussy, Josh Baker, and Riordan, his sound is groove-led, forward-thinking, and unapologetically dancefloor-focused. Blending international club influence with a deep understanding of the local crowd, GINGER T is redefining Ao Nang's underground sound, and setting a new standard in the process.

After a standout set at our first shows, Shika is back. With both parents working as radio DJs, he was exposed to all kinds of music from a young age. This diverse musical upbringing sparked a lifelong love for all kinds of music, from classic hits to underground beats. With six years of DJing experience, Shika has primarily played in his private parties in Krabi, crafting seamless sets that blend House, Minimal, and Techno rhythms. After traveling to many music festivals across Asia and Europe, Shika discovered his passion for electronic music. He found that the local scene here is missing good music, and he's determined to change that. With his unique sound and energy, he's here to bring something fresh to Krabi's underground music scene.

Who We Are

DESCEND is an underground events collective curated by electronic artists. We are built around one singular focus: the music. We reject the generic festival tropes of excessive visual distractions and short performance slots.

Instead, we build custom high-fidelity sound setups inside unique environments — shophouses, tropical beaches, and mountain valleys. Our DJs play extended and all-night-long sets, taking the dancefloor on an unbroken narrative journey.
